Jade Dienst GmbH offers a wide range of services, including tugboat services, port logistics, pilotage services, and salvage and towing services. History of Jade-Dienst GmbH

Since its founding in 1958 by Konrad Lüders and the Wilhelmshaven Shipping and Warehouse Company, Jade-Dienst has developed steadily through several takeovers and expansions and expanded its range of services in 2021.

    Foundation of the Jade-Dienst by Konrad Lüders and the then Wilhelmshaven Shipping and Warehouse Company (WSLG).

    1961
    Foundation of the Tank and Ship Cleaning Company.

    1971
    Commissioning of the Wilhelmshaven Port Radio maritime radio station as the only private coastal radio station.

    Various changes in the shareholder structures and individual changes in company formations and shareholdings.

    Takeover by the Bohlen & Doyen Group.

    The company is successfully certified by Germanischer Lloyd.

    Construction of a new facility with an office building, a workshop hall and an insulated warehouse.

    Signing of the “ÖSK I” ship management contract between the state of Lower Saxony and Jade-Dienst GmbH.

    Construction of our own quay for vehicles up to a length of approx. 160 meters and a maximum draft of approx. 6.50m. The quay is equipped with a ramp, a boat slip and the supply facilities for shore connection and water discharge.

    Merger of Jade-Dienst GmbH with Tank- und Schiffsreinigungs-GmbH (subsidiary of Jade-Dienst GmbH).

    Obtaining the concession for mooring services at Jade-Weser-Port.

    Acquisition of Navitek GmbH. Expansion of services to include repair, overhaul and maintenance of propulsion machines and auxiliary units on ships.

    New shareholders: HLM Hamburg Linesmen GmbH, Hamburg and J. Johannsen & Sohn Beteiligungs GmbH from Lübeck as well as a limited partnership of some employees of the Jade-Dienst company.

    Signing of a ship management contract for the oil spill response vessel “THOR” between the Lower Saxony Ministry of the Environment and Jade-Dienst GmbH. Additional business area: Car loading at the Jade-Dienst quay – loading used vehicles onto car transporters for the company Jade Car Logistics GmbH. New scheduled service between Wilhelmshaven and North Africa.

Our location

Wilhelmshaven is Germany’s only deep-water port and one of the three largest seaports. The Jade service has a 150-meter-long pier with a water depth of 7.10 m, a 5,000 square meter storage area and a 20-meter-wide ramp that enables loading and unloading regardless of the tide. The port facility is ISPS-secured and approved for project and maintenance work as well as Ro-Ro traffic.
